In November an estimated 70,000 devout members of the Church of God In Christ (COGIC) descended upon Memphis from all over the world for the centennial celebration honoring the founding of their church by Bishop Charles Mason.  

"Saints", as the faithful followers call themselves, gather to passionately celebrate their Pentecostal-based religion during the 100th Annual Holy Convocation through praise, song, dance, shouting and speaking in tongues.
